COLBY, WI (WAOW-WSAU) — A former Colby school employee is expected to be charged with multiple counts of indentity theft, fraud and computer crimes.
WAOW TV is reporting that 44-year-old Lisa Steen used school district money to pay personal bills from February 2018 to January 2019. An audit also showed over $7,000 missing.
The complaint also says Steen changed the grades of a student which made the student eligible for additonal scholarships.
The report does not say when formal charges will be filed.
