FRIENDSHIP, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Officials are searching for a sex offender from Adams County whose whereabouts are unknown.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler Peterson, 21, is wanted on charges of tampering with his body-worn GPS tracker and for a probation warrant from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Officials say Peterson, a lifetime registered sex offender, cut the tracker off.
Peterson is a white male, 5-foot-11, 170-pounds with brown hair and green eyes. Anyone with information on Peterson’s whereabouts are asked to contact the Adams County Crime Stoppers by texting their tip to CRIMES (274637) with keyword ADAMS. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.
