MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — Stark Automotive, a long-time car dealership in Merrill, closed its doors for good on Tuesday. Management says the profits from new car sales are no longer enough to keep the dealership open.
The dealership’s 15 full-time employees were notified of the plans on Monday. Customers who had appointments for service are being encouraged to reschedule those jobs with other GM dealerships in the area.
Stark had operated on Merrill’s east side for 32 years. Future plans for the land have not been announced.
