WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A Wausau woman is facing drug charges after meth was found on her during a body search at the Marathon County jail.
Marathon County Sheriff’s Department officials say 7.5 grams of methamphetamines were found during a body cavity search on 41-year-old Leah Blando. The search was conducted at the Marathon County Jail on December 9th.
Blando was charged on December 21st for possesing meth with intent to distribute. She faces up to 15 years in prison for the repeate charge.
Blando is being held on a $2,000 signature bond and will return to court on January 9th.
