MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Purdue Boilermakers got 36 points from Carsen Edwards and beat Wisconsin 84-80 in overtime on Friday night at the Kohl Center.
They finished 17-30 from the foul line including 8-12 in the OT. They also took advantage of 17 Badger turnovers including two at the end of OT managing only one free throw over the last five possessions.
Ethan Happ led the Badgers with 31 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. D’Mitrick Trice had 17 points and Brad Davison added 13.
Wisconsin will play at Maryland on Monday night.
