ABBOTSFORD, WI (WSAU) A tanker-truck rollover snarled traffic on Highway 29 in Abbortsford on Tuesday morning.
The accident happened around 3am near the Highway 13 exit. Both lanes were blocked for more than an hour. Eventually one lane was re-opened in each direction to allow traffic to pass through the area.
The tanker-truck came to rest on its side in the median. The truck was hauling propane. As trfffic was allowed back into the area, law enforcement at the scene said there was no danger to the public.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Department says the driver was taken to Marshfield Medical Center in serious condition. The driver’s name hasn’t been released.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
