RACINE, WI (WSAU) — Green Bay Packer linebacker Za’Darius Smith is facing citations for marijuana possession and speeding.
It stems from a September 29th traffic stop in Racine County. He was going 81 in a 60 MPH work zone when he was pulled over with two other Packers in the car. They were returning from a trip to Chicago.
The car smelled of marijuana and when officers searched the vehicle they found three hollowed out cigars and a vaping cartridge with evidence of pot.
Smith was the only person cited and is scheduled to be in court on Monday.
