FERGUS FALLS, MN (WSAU) — A semi driver from Rhinelander died in a single-vehicle crash in West Central Minnesota this week.
Officers say Samuel M Hoffhein was operating a Kenworth semi near Fergus Falls in Otter Tail County Thursday when he drifted off the road and struck a power pole.
It’s believed the 62-year-old may have suffered a medical emergency just before the crash. Additionally, he was not wearing a seat belt at the time.
Alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors in the incident.
