GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) The Green Bay Packers had two selections in the NFL draft on Friday night and made two additions to their offensive arsenal.
With the 62nd pick in the second round the Packers took Boston College running back AJ Dillon and with the 94th pick in the 3rd round they selected Cincinnati tight end Josiah Deguara.
Dillon is a 6′ 247 pound who set Boston College’s rushing record of 4,382 yards in three seasons. He rushed for 1,685 yards and 14 touchdowns last season.
Deguara is a 6’2″ 242 pound tight end/H back hybrid who is known for his blocking but also caught 39 passes for 504 yards and seven touchdowns as a fifth year senior last season.
Green Bay does not have a 4th round pick today. They do have a 5th round pick, 3 sixth round picks and 3 seventh round picks in todays final day of the draft.
