GREEN BAY, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers held off a late rally from the the Seahawks to earn a 28-23 win in the Divisional Playoff round at Lambeau Field.
Davante Adams hauled in eight passes for a franchise-playoff record 160 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers passed for a pair of scores and Aaron Jones rushed for two more as the Pack led 21-3 at halftime. Rodgers and Adams hooked up in the third quarter for the deciding touchdown.
The Packers will visit the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game Sunday night.
Russell Wilson guided three touchdown drives in the second half for Seattle, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap. Marshawn Lynch ran for two scores as the season ends for the Seahawks.
