ARBOR VITAE, WI (WSAU) — A 21-year-old woman is dead after a snowmobile crash in Vilas County.
Sheriff’s officials say it happened early Sunday morning when officials were called to Trail 11 near Arbor Vitae for a report of a sled that had struck a tree.
First responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Her name has not been released pending notification of family.
The crash remains under investigation.
