WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – The eastbound lanes of Highway 29 were closed at 72nd Avenue in Wausau after a rollover crash on Tuesday morning.
A tractor trailer and an SUV collided in the westbound lanes. The SUV rolled over several times and came to rest on its roof in the median. The truck jackknifed, and blocked the westbound lanes for about two hours.
Police have not said how many people were involved in the crash, or their conditions.
The accident remains under investigation.
