RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) — A Rhinelander woman will spend 2 years in prison for a murder-for-hire plot to kill her husband.
Megan Danielczak age 28 pleaded “no contest” to 1st-degree intentional homicide back in February. Today she was sentenced to 2 years in state prison for the charge and 6 years of extended supervision.
Danielczak tried to kill her husband in February of 2018 to collect his life insurance benefits. She offered gold rings and about $400 cash to an undercover officer posing as a hit man as a down payment for killing her husband.

Danielczak is credited with two days in prison and will need to pay her restitution upon her release from prison of almost $3,000.
