NEW RICHMOND, WI (WSAU) — A worker at Cedar Lake Speedway died while clearing the track after a wreck Friday night.
Officials say 62-year-old Edward Nicholson of River Falls was working to clear the track after a school bus race. While he was working to remove one of the buses, another wrecked bus rolled on top of him. He died at the scene.
St. Croix County officials were called to the scene shortly after 9 PM. The incident remains under investigation by both OSHA and the medical examiner’s office.
