MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — Police in Marshfield say they’ve solved the mystery of who has been vandalizing campaign signs and flags in recent weeks.
Officers on patrol stopped two curfew violators that were riding bicycles early Monday morning near Chesnut and 11th. Officers then interviewed the boys about their potential involvement in the incidents, and they confessed to taking part in “multiple incidents.”
Both boys were returned to their parents and have been cited for curfew violations. Additionally, they will be referred to Human Services.
Names of those involved have not been released due to their age. Potential charges against them are unclear.
