WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Two universities are waiving some fees for potential incoming freshmen.
UW- Stevens Point and Northcentral Technical College announced on Wednesday morning that they are waiving their application fees for the fall 2020 semester. Students who apply to any UW- Stevens Point campus before August 31st will have their fee waived. At NTC application fees are waived for the entirety of the fall semester that ends in December.
Both universities are having application fees be covered by foundation donors among others. In a press release UW- Stevens Point Director of Admissions and Recruitment Marc Young says, “UW-Stevens Point is excited about the generous contributions of the UWSP Foundation, alumni, donors, and friends whose gift will increase access for future students to apply to UW-Stevens Point campuses without the financial burden associated with application fees.”
More information about enrollment at both schools can be found at their respective websites, uwsp.edu and ntc.edu.
