WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) Tuesday is the August partisan primary. Wausau election officials are reminding voters that some polling locations have changed.
Only five polling places will be open around the city. They are:
- Districts 1 and 2: Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 709 Weston Avenue.
- Districts 3 and 10: Marathon Park East Gate, 600 block of Garfield Ave.
- Districts 4, 5, and 6: Thrive Church, 400 Grand Avenue.
- Districts 7 and 8: St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 600 Stevens Drive
- Districts 9 and 11: National Guard Armory I, 833 S 17th Avenue.
Polling takes place from 7am to 8pm.
In-person voting is expected to be light. There are no state-wide primaries, and many voters have already requested absentee ballots.
