TOWN OF SARATOGA, WI (WSAU) — A 27-year-old from Oxford is dead after a rollover accident in Wood County on Sunday.
Officers were called to the intersection of Highway 73 and Branding Iron Court just before 9 AM for a one-vehicle rollover. The investigation revealed the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the road and rolled. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the driver is expected to be released Monday evening.
Responding agencies included Wood County Sheriff’s officials, the Wisconsin Rapids Ambulance, Saratoga First Responders, and the Grand Rapids Fire Department. The crash remains under investigation and no further information has been released.
