MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers offense came alive Friday night in a 9-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates at Miller Park.
Jedd Gyorko hit a first inning home run and Ryan Braun clubbed a three-run shot with two outs in the 3rd inning.
Mark Mathias and Jacob Nottingham had two RBI’s each for the Brewers.
Corbin Burnes pitched six scoreless innings for the win. He gave up three hits with 10 strikeouts.
The two teams play tonight… pre game show at 5:35 on WSAU.
