NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) — The NBA has reportedly scheduled the Milwaukee Bucks to host the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day.
Numerous sources including ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski report that the league will have five showcase games that day with Golden State vs Milwaukee as the second game of the day. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:30 at Fiserv Forum.
Other Christmas Day games include:
- New Orleans Pelicans @ Miami Heat, 11 AM CT
- Golden State Warriors @ Milwaukee Bucks, 1:30 PM CT
- Brooklyn Nets @ Boston Celtics, 4 PM CT
- Dallas Mavericks @ Los Angeles Lakers, 7 PM CT
- Los Angeles Clippers @ Denver Nuggets, 9:30 PM CT
No fans would be allowed at Fiserv Forum for the game. The Bucks announced earlier this winter that they do have a goal of eventually allowing fans to attend games, but that will depend on the situation surrounding COVID-19 and guidance from the NBA.
The NBA is expected to announce the first portion of its shortened 72-game 2020-’21 season any day now. The Association will announce the remainder of the season sometime in February to allow flexibility for any postponements to be made up.
