MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin men’s basketball team built a big lead and held off the Rhode Island Rams 73-62 on Wednesday afternoon at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers were up by 21 points with just under twelve minutes remaining but the Rams cut the deficit to eight with 4:40 left.
Brad Davison hit his first three 3 pointers and led Wisconsin with 23 points. Micah Potter had 13 and Aleem Ford added 11.
The Badgers, now 4-1, will host Northern Iowa on December 16th before beginning Big Ten play against Nebraska on December 21.
