WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Stevens Point man suspected of killing one person and injuring a child while driving with a suspended license in 2017 is headed to trial.
Ian Rosebrook, 26, was in Marathon County Circut Court Tuesday morning for a preliminary hearing. Rosebrook is facing charges of knowingly operating a vehicle with a suspended license and operating a vehicle while under the influence. Rosebrook is accused of crashing his vehicle in 2017 while under the influence of THC with his girlfriend and her three-month-old child. The girlfriend passed away as a result of the crash and the three-month-old was injured.

At the hearing, a state trooper testified to the court along with two evidence pieces being exhibited to the court. Following the testimony, the court bound Rosebrook over for trial and arraignment. Rosebrook entered a plea of “not guilty” to both charges.
Rosebrook will return to court on January 8th for a calendar call to schedule his next hearing.
