
Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU)– The Maryland mens basketball team came into Madison on Monday and upset the 9th ranked Badgers 70-64 at the Kohl Center.
The Terrapins, now 6-3,1-2 in Big Ten, snapped Wisconsin’s 15 game home winning streak and stretch of 10 straight conference wins dating back to last season.
D’Mitrick Trice led the Badgers with 25 points. Aleem Ford added 10. The Badger big men struggled as Nate Reuvers and Micah Potter combined for just 12 points and the Badgers were outscored in the paint 38-20.
Wisconsin, now 8-2, 2-1 in Big Ten, will host Minnesota on Thursday.
