MIAMI, FLA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks jumped out to a 12-0 lead and never trailed in a 144-97 shellacking of the Miami Heat on Tuesday night in south Florida.
The Bucks set an NBA record in the victory with 29 made three-pointers, shooting 56.9% from distance. 12 of 13 players who got into the game hit at least one 3-pt shot. The only one who didn’t was Giannis Antetokounmpo who finished with only 9 points.
Khris Middleton continued his hot start to the season with 25 points and Jrue Holiday added 24 with seven assists.
Donte DiVincenzo had 17, Brook Lopez 14, Bryn Forbes 12, Bobby Portis 11 and DJ Augustin had 10.
The Bucks scored 46 points in the first quarter and had 115 through three periods. They led by as much as 50 in the game.
Milwaukee, now 2-2 on the season will face Miami again tonight.
