MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The #2 ranked Wisconsin women’s hockey team sent a message on Friday with a 5-0 shutout of the #1 ranked Minnesota Gophers at LaBahn Arena.
Kennedy Blair got her 3rd shutout of the season with 30 saves .
Badger goals were scored by Sophie Shirley, Dara Greig, Daryl Watts, Britta Curl and Makenna Webster.
The Badgers, now 5-2, will host the Gophers again Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile the Wisconsin men’s hockey game with Arizona State was postponed on Friday night dut to Covid19 concerns in the ASU program. Saturday night’s game is still on at this time.
