MILWAUKEE, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) Baseball Hall of Famer and former Brewer Don Sutton is dead. His son announced on social media that Sutton passed away at the age of 75.
A longtime Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher who won more than 300 games, Sutton also pitched for the Astros, Brewers, Athletics, and Angels. He won 324 games and was named to the All-Star team four times.
In 1982 he was traded to Milwaukee and played a key role in helping the Brewers to their only World Series appearance.
He would later go on to be a television and radio analyst for the Atlanta Braves. He was inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame in 1998.
