One cannot knock the ingenuity of the American entrepreneur, particularly if there is a market for your product, but this likely qualifies – as the journalist/tester asserts – as the ‘dumbest PPE of all time.’ However, due to the daily onslaught of hysteria from the media, the scheming political left and our “one size fits all” overreaching and often tyrannical government, this product undoubtedly has a niche with those whom for whatever reason, deny their own common sense and critical thinking skills in favor of embracing the ‘chicken little’ philosophy.
This product is billed as a way to “safely return to airline travel with this HEPA filter-equipped PPE helmet.” Ironically, it’s probably more likely that you could die in a plane crash than die from the China virus. But alas, my 3rd grade elementary school teacher isn’t around anymore to remind people to put on their ‘thinking caps.’
For some, it’s not enough that the recovery rate for the China virus is in the high ninety-ninth percentile, nor is it even worth considering that for many, like myself, the symptoms were mildly inconvenient. So I couldn’t taste my flavored sparkling water for a week – I survived. For others – friends, family members and acquaintances – even those with co-morbidities and compromised immune systems – they, too were quite capable of making the decision to either isolate, make wise choices and be mindful of to whom they are exposed. They could even choose to cling to their unsanitary and germ-infested masks – or invest in the AIR helmet, if they so desired.
What I love most about the America in which I grew up – from the belief in cultivating and strengthening a hearty immune system – by drinking water from the neighbor’s sprinkler, eating unwashed vegetables harvested directly from my backyard garden, or hugging my friends and family before, during and after a plandemic, is that I am free to choose what works best for me. I will continue to reject participation in government propaganda – and that to me, is inherently American.
The left’s popular mantra “my body, my choice” has quite a ring to it these days, no?
