Milwaukee Bucks
CHARLOTTE, NC (WSAU) — LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward each scored 27 points as the Charlotte Hornets topped the Milwaukee Bucks 126-114 Saturday night.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the bucks with 34 points in the losing effort. Jrue Holiday added 21. Khris Middleton chipped in 18.
Antetokounmpo added 18 rebounds as well.
Ball saw increased playing time off the bench due to an ankle injury to starter Terry Rozier. He just missed on a double-double for the night with nine assists while also recording four steals.
The Bucks will not be sending Christmas cards to the Ball family anytime soon. On Friday night older brother Lonzo scored 27 points to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to a win over the Bucks.
Milwaukee will enjoy an off day today before hosting Portland on Monday.
