MINNEAPOLIS, MINN (WSAU) — The Wisconsin men’s hockey team took down #2 ranked Minnesota 4-1 at Mariucci Arena.
Cole Caufield scored twice for the Badgers. The other goals went to Dylan Holloway and Roman Ahcan.
Robbie Beydoun had 24 saves.
The Badgers, now 12-7, 10-5 in Big Ten, will play Minnesota again tonight.
The Wisconsin women’s hockey team also beat the Gophers 4-3 in overtime on Friday night in Minneapolis.
Daryl Watts scored twice including the game winner in OT. The Badgers tied the game with 35 seconds left in regulation. Britta Curl scored with the goalie pulled to tie the game. The other Badger goal went to Caitlin Schneider.
The Badgers, now 9-2, will face Minnesota again this afternoon.
The #1 ranked Wisconsin volleyball team beat Rutgers on Friday night. The scores were 25-18, 25-20 and 25-16 .
The Badgers struggled early in this one before rallying behind the serving of Molly Haggerty. Wisconsin had nine aces on the night, three from Haggerty.
Wisconsin will play Rutgers again at 4pm this afternoon at the UW-Fieldhouse.
