CLEVELAND, OH (WSAU) — Three players scored 20 or more points to lead a balanced Milwaukee Bucks squad to a 124-99 win over Cleveland on Saturday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 24 points while Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton each scored 20. Giannis added 11 rebounds and 5 assists in the win.
Andre Drummond led all scorers with 28 points in the losing effort.
Milwaukee also topped Cleveland on Friday night, giving them a sweep in the back-to-back set in Northeast Ohio. The Bucks didn’t arrive in Cleveland until Friday afternoon due to mechanical issues with their plane, but that didn’t appear to bother them much.
The two wins give Milwaukee a 2-0 start to their current six-game road trip. They’ll now head west for a Monday showdown with the Denver Nuggets. Games against Utah, Phoenix, and Oklahoma City are also scheduled for the current road trip, COVID-19 procedures pending.
