Auburndale Schools Evacuated After Threat

AUBURNDALE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a threatening message found on a bathroom stall in the Auburndale Middle and High School.

WAOW TV reports that a student discovered a message saying that there may be “an incendiary device” on campus.

The student reported the message and both buildings were evacuated as a precaution.

The buildings have since been deemed safe.

The investigation into the incident remains active. Anyone with information is asked to call the Wood County Sheriff’s Office or upload their tip anonymously to CrimeStoppers through the P3 app.
