EVANSTON, ILLINOIS (WSAU) — The Wisconsin men’s basketball team dumped Northwestern 68-51 on Sunday night.
Micah Potter had 19 and DiMitrick Trice had 13. Jonathan Davis and Brad Davison added 12 each in the win.
The Badgers had a 31-15 edge in bench scoring, forced 14 turnovers and had a 35-30 edge in rebounding to break a two game losing streak.
Wisconsin, now 16-8, 10-7 in Big Ten, will host Illinois on Saturday.
Despite losing just it’s second set of the season, the #1 ranked Wisconsin volleyball team stayed undefeated with a 3-1 win at Michigan State.
The scores were 25-10, 25-16, 21-25 and 25-22.
Jade Demps had a career high 17 kills for Wisconsin. Lauren Barnes led the defense with 28 digs.
The Badgers, now 10-0, will host Nebraska on Friday and Saturday.
