Audrey Benson
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Another arrest has been made in connection with the death of a Marshfield man.
WAOW-TV is reporting that 20-year-old Audrey Benson of Marshfield is accused of being a party to the crime of First Degree Intentional Homicide. Christian Schauer was found dead in Spencer in late December after a fur trapper found his body.
Police say Schauer’s car was found on the property where Jared Carl lives. Jared and his father Shawn were both arrested in connection to the homicide as well. Shawn is accused of shooting and killing Schauer. Jared is accused of possession of stolen property related to the homicide.
Benson is expected to be in court on February 24th at 2 p.m.
