NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) — The second half of the NBA season begins on March 11th for the Milwaukee Bucks.
That’s when Milwaukee hosts the New York Knicks will visit Fiserv Forum for the first of 17 remaining home dates for the Bucks.
The regular-season then concluded on May 16th in Chicago against the Bulls. The home finale will be the 15th versus the defending Eastern Conference champion Miami HEAT.
The Bucks have drawn ten national TV games including one on ABC against the Eastern Conference-leading Brooklyn Nets on May 2nd. They’ll play five games on ESPN including two matchups each against Philadelphia (March 17th and April 24th) and Boston (March 24th and 26th), and four games on TNT which includes an additional matchup against the 76ers on April 22nd.
A May 4th game against Brooklyn is also scheduled for TNT.
All told the Bucks have 36 games remaining in their season.
The NBA Playoffs are scheduled to begin May 22nd following a play-in tournament that will determine each conference’s 7th and 8 seeds. The latest possible date for a potential Game Seven of the NBA Finals is July 22nd.
The league released the second half of each team’s 72-game regular-season slate Wednesday afternoon on ESPN. The network’s NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski said while that remains the target number for each team, some clubs may fall short of that number due to COVID-19’s impact on the early-season schedule.
During the schedule release show, Wojnarowski announced that the league may consider writing future schedules in two phases to allow for better late-season national TV matchups.
