STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP men’s basketball team had five players score in double figures in a 98-65 stomping of UW-River Falls on Wednesday night at Quandt Fieldhouse.
Philip Flory led the way with 26 points. Peter Timmerman and Brady Wagner had career highs with 20 & 16 points. Garrett Nelson added 13 and Cliff McCray had 10.
The Pointers, now 2-5, will travel to River Falls on Friday.
The UWSP women’s basketball team topped UW-River Falls 84-76 on Wednesday night in River Falls.
Taylor Greenheck tied career highs with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Bailee Collins also had a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards. Jessica Slowik had a career high 13.
The Pointers, now 3-4, will host River Falls on Friday.
The UWSP men’s hockey team dropped a 4-1 game with UW-Stout on Wednesday in Menominee. The Pointers allowed three first period goals.
Colin Raver had the only Pointer tally. Eli Billing had 20 saves.

The UWSP women’s hockey team picked up a 3-1 win over Northland College in Stevens Point on Wednesday night.
Maike Zipp, Dain Heitsman and Nicole Neuberger had the Pointer goals. Olivia Schultz had 13 saves.
The Pointers, now 1-3, will play Northland again on Saturday in Ashland.
