LA CROSSE, WI. (WSAU) — The UWSP men’s basketball team saw their season come to an end with a 76-68 loss to UW-La Crosse in the WIAC Tournament on Monday.
The Pointers had four players finish in double figures with Peter Timmerman and Brady Wagner leading the way with 16 each. Garrett Nelson and Philip Flory had 14 apiece.
Flory finished the season a perfect 41-41 from the foul line tying a Pointer record.
The Pointers finished the shortened season at 2-7.
The UWSP women’s basketball team also finished their season with a WIAC Tournament loss. UW La Crosse beat the Pointers 59-53 on Monday.
Ballie Collins had a season high 23 points along with a game-high 12 rebounds. Taylor Greenheck and Kellan Schmidt had 10 points each.
The Pointers finished the shortened season at 3-6.
