STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP men’s hockey team advanced in the WIAC Tournament with a 6-3 win over Northland College on Monday night at KB Willet Arena.
Ryan Orgel scored twice. Other Pointer goals went to David Hill, Brandon McReynolds, Steven Quagliata and Colin Raver.
Eli Windsor had 11 saves. NC goaltender Chris Curr stopped 62 shots.
The Pointers will face UW-Eau Claire on Wednesday in Eau Claire.
