WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A 30-year-old Wausau man has entered a plea for charges of recklessly endangering safety connected with a November shooting incident on the city’s north side.
Zachary Guy-Neumann entered a not guilty plea to all charges against him on Tuesday including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of THC, and obstructing an officer.
He was then bound over for trial by Judge Gregory Strasser.
Guy-Neumann is accused of firing a gun at a Wausau couple after chasing them from a convenience store. The woman reporting the crime also says he threatened to stab her boyfriend before firing the shots, then fleeing the scene.
Police arrested him near downtown Wausau.
He faces a total of nine counts in two separate court cases connected to the incident. His next court date is June 21st.
