PORTAGE, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — A person is dead and three suspects are in custody in the case of a murder at a motel in Portage.
Police officers in Portage responded to a call after the noon hour yesterday of an unresponsive man at the Ridge Motor Inn on New Pinery Road. The man died at the scene although investigators haven’t yet released cause and manner of death.
One suspect under arrest faces first degree reckless homicide charges. Two other suspects in custody face drug and probation violation charges.
