PHOENIX, AZ (WSAU) — Garrett Mitchell had two hits and an RBI as the Brewers and Rangers played to a 4-4, seven-inning tie on Saturday.
No other Brewer recorded more than one hit. Jackie Bradley Jr went 1-3 with a run scored in the leadoff spot, while Daniel Vogelbach went 1-2 with a double and an RBI.
Seven pitchers took the mound for Milwaukee in the contest with Drew Rasmussen going 2.2 in the start. He gave up two earned runs on three hits.
Josh Hader and Blaine Hardy both tossed a full inning towards the middle of the game. Both gave up a single base hit but neither allowed a run.
No other reliever recorded a full inning of work.
The Brewers are 7-5 on the spring season. They’ll take on Seattle this afternoon.
