MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — A woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the case of a missing man.
According to a news release from the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, 40-year-old Stephanie Trewyn has been arrested. She was arrested Wednesday at 1:33 p.m. by Marshfield Police and the Wood County Sheriff’s Department in connection with the investigation of missing person Zachary Vasa.
Vasa 32 was last seen visiting a Marshfield home on June 13th of last year. Vasa left the home and did not tell anyone where he was going. His remains were found on March 11th in the area of Patton Drive and Fairhaven Avenue in the Town of Rock.

Trewyn has been arrested on the charge of mutilating or hiding a corpse. No other information is being released at this time.
