WHITEWATER, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP baseball team dropped a DH at Whitewater 94 & 6-4 on Saturday.
Wausau West grad Payton Nelson had four hits on the day. He also scored a run and drew a pair of walks.
The Pointers will host Finlandia for a DH on Tuesday at 1pm.
The UWSP softball team lost a DH on Saturday to the University of Chicago in Madison. The scores were 6-5 and 12-2.
Megan Lawrence had four hits and drove in three runs on the day. Lauren Luedtke also had four hits with two runs scored and two stolen bases. Sara Traxel had three hits and drove in both runs in Game 2.
The Pointers will play a single game today at Wisconsin Lutheran.
