GREEN BAY, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — Marcedes Lewis is remaining with the Packers. The tight end has agreed to a two-year contract.
NFL Network reports it’s worth eight-million dollars, with 2.1-million guaranteed.
This will be Lewis’ fourth season with Green Bay and his 16th in the NFL. Only 4 other tight ends have played that long. They include Tony Gonzalez, Jason Witten, Antonio Gates and Jackie Smith.
The Packers also signed some competition for long snapper Hunter Bradley. They have brought in Joe Fortunato, a first year player out of Delaware, who signed with the Colts as a free agent in 2017.
