CARSON TOWNSHIP, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A man on a bicycle is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Portage County.
A report from the sheriff’s department says the crash happened around 8pm at the intersection of CTH HH and CTH E in the Township of Carson.
The cyclist, identified as a 60-year-old man from Linwood, was attempting to cross CTH HH and failed to yield for a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a 67-year-old man from Stevens Point, was uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
