SCOTTSDALE, AZ (MetroSource-WSAU) –Lefty Brett Anderson pitched into the sixth inning and allowed two runs in the Brewers 2-2 tie with the Giants in Scottsdale.
He and Corey Ray singled in runs in the second inning. The Brewers play the White Sox tonight.
Meanwhile Freddy Peralta is going back into the Milwaukee rotation after being used mostly in relief last season. Brewers manager Craig Counsell says the 24-year-old righty earned a rotation slot with a strong spring.
Josh Lindblom, who made 10 starts last year, will be used in relief. The other starters are Brandon Woodruff, Corbin Burnes, Adrian Houser and Brett Anderson.
