MARYVALE, AZ (WSAU) The Chicago White Sox topped the Milwaukee Brewers 7-5 in Cactus League play on Friday.
Youngster Garrett Mitchell continued his hot spring with a two run triple. Keston Hiura hit his 4th homer of the spring in the first inning.
Freddy Peralta pitched better than his line indicates. He went 5 1/3 innings giving up five runs but striking out eight. Devin Williams and Josh Hader each pitched scoreless innings.
The Brewers will play the Kansas City Royals this afternoon.
