MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Milwaukee was once again without Giannis Antetokounmpo as the New York Knicks left Fiserv Forum with a 102-96 win Saturday night.
In his brother’s absence, Thanasis Antetokounmpo led the way with 23 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Jordan Nwora, a rookie, scored 21 points.
Both Nwora and Thanasis made their first starts of the season in the game. Rookie Sam Merrill and two-way player Axel Toupane also started.
In addition to being without Antetokounmpo, the Bucks were missing Jru Holiday, Khris Middleton, and Donte DiVincenzo.
Alec Burks and RJ Barrett each scored 21 points to lead the Knicks in the win.
Milwaukee will hit the road on Monday to take on the LA Clippers.
