ARLINGTON, TX (MetroSource-WSAU) — Kolten Wong belted a two-run homer in the Brewers’ 6-3 win over the Rangers in Arlington, Texas in their spring finale.
Avisail Garcia had two RBIs. Daniel Vogelbach and Manny Pina also drove in runs. The Brewers scored five times in the 3rd inning.
Milwaukee starter Brett Anderson allowed two runs and six hits over five innings to pick up the victory. UWSP grad JP Feyereisen pitched another scoreless inning striking out two.
The Brewers open the season tomorrow at home against the Twins. You can hear the game on WSAU…pre game show at 12:35.
The Brewers will start the season with 25-percent capacity at American Family Field. There will be no bags allowed, no cash payments, and it will be pod seating with masks.
The Brewers are selling tickets for home games through May 2nd and hope to gain approval from the City of Milwaukee Health Department for increased spectators after that.
