CHICAGO, Ill (WSAU) — A first inning three run homer and a combined one-hitter led the Brewers to a 4-0 shut-out of the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday night at Wrigley Field.
Travis Shaw connected for the opposite field blast that staked the Brewers to a 3-0 lead. Omar Narvaez stayed hot with two hits and the other RBI with a solo homer.
Freddy Peralta, Brent Suter and Brad Boxberger combined on the gem striking out 10. Kris Bryant had the only Cub hit with a triple in the 4th inning.
The Brewers and Cubs will finish their series with a day game today. Pre game show at 12:45 on WSAU.
