WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The person charged in connection with a Wausau house fire in early March has entered a plea.
James Farrar, 29, was in Marathon County Circuit Court for a preliminary hearing on Monday morning. Farrar is accused of setting the fire from two different locations inside a Wausau home at 10th and Cedar on March 1st.

At the hearing, the court found probable cause that a crime had been committed and bound Farrar over for trial. Farrar then pleaded not guilty to a felony count of arson of a building without the owner’s consent. The charge also has a repeater modifier.
Farrar is being held on a $200,000 cash bond and will return to court on April 21st for a calendar call.
